Re: Village Table

Dear Clients, Volunteers, Community Partners and Staff,

In today’s environment, non-profit organizations are increasingly reliant upon self-generated revenue to support its operations. In 2017, MOWL launched a pilot project (The Village Table) with hopes that this venture would bring new revenue to support our mission and mandate. With the support of several partners, a significant effort was made with the support of staff and volunteers to develop and launch this project.

Unfortunately, the results from a revenue perspective have not met expectations. In September 2018, MOWL made the decision to wind down the operation of The Village Table. This process is expected to be completed by December 31, 2018.

The following steps will be taken:

The village table site will be down as of late December, 2018 and will be re-directed to the MOWL site. The Village table page will feature this statement and all inquiries will be directed to our Executive Director, Darryl at the below contact information. If you or anyone has questions regarding this, please contact him.

MOWL remains committed to its mission and mandate and will continue to explore opportunities to raise additional revenue to meet the ever-increasing need for our vital services. We thank everyone for their ongoing dedication and commitment to our cause.

If you have any questions, please contact Daryl Hall, Executive Director at
